We just finished redecorating our house. My sister and her family already moved to the US so w had 2 spare rooms. We didn’t really touch my sister’s bedroom since they still might come back after three years and they still have some of their stuff in there. But it can be used as a guest room.
What I noticed about our house is that we have too many fans. My room, my sister’s room and the den outside our rooms alone have 2 fans each. I’m thinking it would be a real space saver if we have ceiling fans instead of stand fans, don’t you think? But I’m really worried about the dust, things get pretty dusty here in just a short time. But I’ll try to convince my dad to install ceiling fans at least in the common rooms like the den, the living room and the dining area. (We have 3 fans in the dining area alone. :P)

I’m going to attend my friend’s baby shower this weekend. Thing is I’m really uncreative when it comes to buying gifts. Right now I’m thinking of giving her prenatal vitamins. I’m thinking all the others would give her something for the baby so why not give her something that’s actually good for both her and the baby. What do you think? Is this okay or not? Should I just give her something the baby could use when he arrives?

I posted about acne just a few hours ago and here I am posting about it again. I think I need the best acne treatment there is asap! Haha! I feel I have one developing right now and I want to prevent it in preparation for next month… for the luau and for the EB with my online friends. I want to at least look decent in the photos, especially at the luau. And who knows, maybe I’ll meet somebody nice there. I’ll be crossing my fingers this won’t develop into a humongous zit.

I went shopping. Yay! I’m feeling a little depressed lately so, instead of buying a treatment for depression, I did a little retail therapy. I know I’m supposed to be saving up but they were just small things and I really needed a diversion. Here are the items that I bought:

Seems like a lot huh? But they’re all very cheap and except with free shipping except one which has $1 shipping fee. All in all, I just spent a little over $20. Great deal right?
I’ve been meaning to add some items to my accessories collection and when I saw these items with really cheap prices, I took advantage. Notice that most are leather bracelets. I wanted to buy these for a some time now but I had no idea where to look in the malls. Now I don’t have to go crazy trying to look for these. Oh and the white bracelet… I got that in black instead of white. Now I think I want the white one too. Haha! I’m so happy!!!
P. S. I got these from ebay.ph but the seller is from Hong Kong.

I’m not blessed with fair skin and I’m okay with it. I’ve learned to accept that and live with it. But sometimes it’s really frustrating when I get acne. They usually appear before that time of the month. hormones and acne… no matter how I deal with them, it just won’t go away. Sigh. I really hope I can find a cheap but really effective solution to this. Lucky are those who don’t have to deal with this. I really envy them. And don’t really like using creams or drinking pills just to treat acne. I guess I’ll just to work harder eating healthy and living a healthy lifestyle. Maybe I should start with going to bed early. Sigh. I hope I can do this.

I was thinking of putting “Sleepless in QC” as the title of this post but I’m not really sleepless. I do sleep or else I won’t be able to do this post but I do lack sleep big time. And it’s all because of my new dog Bailey. Sigh. Well, I don’t really blame, it is till my fault I guess. He sleeps a lot actually. It’s me who has a hard time adjusting to his sleeping habits.
Owning a puppy is like having a baby. You need to sleep also when he sleeps. That’s my problem. I’m used to staying up really late and Bailey sleeps early. So, by the time he wakes up I’ve had only about 2-3 hours of sleep. Sigh.
He also sleeps in the afternoon but I don’t. I’m not used to going back to sleep in the middle of the day unless I’m really very tired. I’ve notice the area below my eyes are getting deeper and a little darker already. I wonder if the best eye cream I can find here at home will help.
But thanks to Bailey, I’m awake during daytime like a normal person. Haha!

I remember a friend of mine forced (yes you read it right, forced) me to read this book. It’s about how to be successful. I really don’t like reading those kinds of books. I have my own opinions and outlook in life and I know I’m stubborn enough not to believe what’s written in those books unless it’s in line with what I believe in. Anyway, he was able to force me to read the book and it was kinda interesting. There was this part where you will be asked to list the things you want to do or achieve if you were given unlimited time, money and resources. I really had fun doing that. It can be as unrealistic or impossible as you want it to be. My list included conquering Mt. Everest, volunteering at a drug rehab, learning a couple of foreign languages, visiting the Exploratorium, and a couple hundreds more.
The purpose of the list is it reminds us of the things we want to do no matter how big small they are. Whenever you accomplish something, scratched it off your list. And looking at the list after a few years, you’ll be surprised to see how much you’ve accomplished without realizing it. Makes sense right? I just might have to update that list of mine one of these days.

I don’t watch too much TV lately but I sometimes watch the news. I’ve noticed there had a few news about sinking ships. One was even because two ships bumped into each other. The sea is too big and it sure isn’t crowded for that too happen. What’s wrong with these shipping lines?
It only about three more weeks and we’re off to Mindoro. Makes me think if I should get a travel insurance just for that trip. Sigh. I’m not really scared because I’ve had my fair share of sea travel mishaps. I just want to be on the safe side. But I doubt I’ll do it. Haha!

To sell or not to sell? That is the question. Our car had become the subject of arguments in our household for sometime. We thought of selling it to help with the finances but my dad wouldn’t want to because ir would be hard if we didn’t have a car. He’s right I guess, so we did keep the car. Now, the question is will we be able to maintain it in good condition? Hope so. I know a thing about cars. Good thing my dad takes good care of it. We’re also looking around for the cheapest car insurance and hoping we’ll find a really good deal. Hmmmm… this reminds me that I need to get a student’s license soon. My cousin’s hubby will teach me how to drive the next time we go to Lobo. I’m excited already.

Are you sentimental? I know I am. I used to keep even the smallest things that would remind me of people that I love… cards, letters, gift tags, wedding invitations, candy wrappers, tissue from restaurants and cafes that I went to with those people, etc. But now, I learned to slowly let go af some of these things. I had to or else there’ll be no more room for me to sleep in my bedroom. Haha! But I still keep the most important ones.
