You can find the complete mechanics here.

To tell you more about the camera strap… here’s the description from the Etsy store…

This PhatStrap is made with Michael Miller’s Carnival Bloom. A very popular pattern right now.

Changing straps can be very time consuming so my straps have quick release buckles to make changing straps a snap!
Very handy to quickly change from a neck strap to a wrist strap in no time flat! All my straps are interchangeable.

Attached to the strap is the male buckles and also included is the two narrow nylon straps with the female end of the buckle that attach to your camera. The narrow nylon is 1/2 inch wide.

Photoshop Actions

I am an aspiring photographer and I admit I need and use Photoshop actions to enhance my photos… a lot! Haha! I use these actions especially to those photos that I use for scrapping… to sharpen, enhance the colors, add effects, and a whole lot more. And what I like about these actions is that you can mix and match the effects and you’re done with just a click of the play button. You can always customize of course to get the effect that you want. Anyway, here are a few sites to free Photoshop actions and of course the not-so-free actions that I love. Enjoy and hope you’ll find this small list helpful. I’ll add more when I find more sites.

Found Cameras & Orphan Pictures

Have you seen this blog already? It’s a blog where you can post photos from a camera or memory stick you found. It’s like an online lost and found. Cool isn’t it? And I salute those who report they found a camera or a memory stick. Check it out here! So, if you lost your camera or memory stick, maybe by the riverside on your last nature walk, there’s still hope for you! You could also browse the photos for you might see somebody you know and be able to help. They update every Thursdays.

Do-It-Yourself Camera Pouch

I love going to the beach! And when I do I always take the time to take a stroll along the shore and take a few shots of anything interesting I can find. I always carry a cloth or bag with me to protect my camera from sand and sea breeze. Somebody told me that you should protect your camera especially from salt water because it may rust your camera in the long run. Anyway, I found this tutorial from the Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories on how to make a cozy bag to protect your camera. It looks so pretty and very useful especially for those strolls I make on the beach. I just wish I know how to sew… maybe I’ll ask my sister to teach me one of these days. Anyway, hope you find this useful too.

Make A Camera Cozy

What to Buy

Okay… so I’ve been browsing the sites where I can buy Lomo cams here in Manila and it’s making me crazy! Haha! I’m so confused on which one to buy first. I’ll definitely get a Holga and the Frogeye 2. But I’m confused between the Holga 120N and the Holga 120CFN starter kit. The difference between the two is the CFN has a built in color flash. And I also saw this package of the Frogeye 2 and the Ringflash and I’m thinking of buying that, which means that I won’t be needing the built-in flash on the Holga CFN anymore since it also has hotshoe where I can attach a flash. But the Frogeye package won’t be my first buy so if I buy the Holga 120N then I’ll be shooting without flash for awhile. I also want a Holga 135BC and I’m also confused if I should buy the 120 first or the 135 first. The 120 uses large film format while the 135 uses the more readily available and cheaper 35mm films. Confusing isn’t it? Did I get you confused too? Haha! See? It really is confusing. How I wish I could buy it all at the same time but my budget won’t let me. And if I did have that budget, I’m thinking that I’d just buy the DSLR first and don’t let me get started on that. Haha!

Why does photography has to be so damn expensive? I need more rakets!!! Haha!

Lomo Wish List

I’ve added a Lomo Wish List in my Kaboodle. It’s not a big list, just stuff stuff that I want to purchase in the next couple of months. :) I’m still looking where to buy and who can give me big a discount if I buy it all together.
