News is out! It is now confirmed that Kim Hyun Joong recently signed to be the local and international endorser for The Face Shop. Yay! Not that I don’t like Tony Moly or Bae Yong Joon, it’s just that there’s no Tony Moly branch here in my country and The Face Shop is everywhere here. Kim Hyun Joong Inked 1.7Bil Won Contract with The FaceShop

SS501 member, singer cum actor Kim Hyun Joong who stars in drama Playful Kiss has took on a CF fee with 1.705 billion won.

On 2nd, according to agency company Keyeast, Kim Hyun Joong has recently signed on with LG Korea to be the domestic and international model for cosmetic brand The Face Shop throughout 2 years.

The Face Shop is making advancements into 18 foreign countries, so Kim Hyun Joong will also be doing activities in not just Korea but also in those other countries.

LG Korea personnel expressed, “Hanryu star Kim Hyun Joong ssi’s refreshing and sophisticated image fits very well with The Face Shop’s ‘Luxurious Nature Objective’ concept who is now slowly growing itself globalwide”.

Kim Hyun Joong will be expected to show himself in the TV CF that will broadcast this month and then start his aggressive domestic and international activities for The Face Shop as the new face model.

Less than a couple more weeks to go before the much awaited K-drama Mischievous Kiss 장난스런 키스 will begin and I can’t wait. Not that I can actually watch it on tv but still, I am very excited for this. And here are the official posters…I’d to have one!!!

Mischievous Kiss Official Posters Revealed

Upcoming new MBC Wed-Thurs drama ‘Playful Kiss’ to be released on September 1 has revealed their 4 types of fantasy-like posters.

On the 19th, according to a Group Eight personnel, this time’s posters display a fantasy-like feeling accompanied with colourful objects thus forming a unique combination with the characters. With this, it brought about larger curiosity to what interesting episodes ‘Playful Kiss’ will have in store in future.

Group Eight also said, “In order to bring out the strongest charm our K-version Playful Kiss could have, our staff and producers devoted all their heart and time into doing researches between the original manga and J-ver, T-ver; and of course not forgetting hard work for these posters, too”.

In addition “You see, because Korea itself, is the main factor why audiences internationally across the world choose to watch K dramas, and exactly because of that, in audiences’ point of view, in order for them to regard our works across as really beautiful video pieces, we have decided that utter visual effects goes as the concept core behind the shooting of these posters”.

Recently at the poster shooting location, as compared to Kim Hyun Joong who has to remain at his unchanging posture and keeping on with an expressionless face thanks to his tactless character Seung-jo, Jung So Min who portrays character Oh Ha-ni –who is always overflowing with energy– instead displays her beautiful break-through smile all the while and goes around mixing with people, which is why she earns the liking of surrounding staff.

Despite his fellow cast mates joking here and there on the set, Kim Hyun Joong who has to maintain his cold and indifferent expression all the time exclaimed, “because I’m too close with Seung-jo, I’m now unable to even laugh”, thus drawing laughters with his peculiar statement.

When shooting ended, Kim Hyun Joong added, “In Boys over Flowers, I had the F4 whom I could rely on, but now, because I only have Hani (Jung So-min) who doesn’t remove itself and sticks onto me like ’super glue’, it’s such a migraine”, “Seung-jo is always Number 1 no matter when and where…For the sake of portraying that Number 1 character, to be honest, if Playful Kiss can achieve really good results, it’ll be really lovely…”, asking for a favour from the audiences.

It’s Baek Seung Jo’s Family portrait. Only a couple more weeks… weee! Aren’t we all excited? I wonder if this is the family photo that will be hanged on the wall, just like in the Taiwanese version. I just finished watching the Taiwanese version on my dad’s lappy and was about to begin watching it for the 4th time when it broke. Thank goodness for laptop insurance, we don’t have to pay a single cent for the repair. Anyway, I love Zhi Shu’s (Taiwanese version of Baek Seung Jo) character, especially in They Kissed Again… I can’t wait to see how Leader will portray the role… not another silent mysterious type, I’m gonna die! Omo!!! Hahaha!

KHJ’s 1st Mischievous Kiss Shooting Day

SS501’s Leader, Kim Hyun Joong, already started shooting his newest drama, Mischievous Kiss, yesterday. It looked like it’s hot in Seoul right now, did you see Leader fanning himself at the end part of the fancam? Anyway, I know we all the miss the boys right? So, I’m going to spam you guys with the boys’ photos in the next few days. I’m compiling good hi-res photos of them cause I want to try this online printing service and make myself my own photobook of the boys. Kekeke! I just can’t get enough of them! I’, still thinking of a theme for the photobook. Any suggestions?

Mischievous Kiss 1st Shooting Day

We’re all waiting for this drama, right? Well, we don’t have to wait much longer. It’s going to start airing on September 1st. Yay! Can’t wait!!! They started shooting today, July 22, 2010. And here are some photos from the location. Jung So Min, Yoon Seung Ah and Hong Yoon Hwa are in the first photo. Too bad, Hyun Joong wasn’t in any of the photos. No worries, I’m pretty we’ll see a glimpse of him in the next few days.

P.S. I’ve heard that Leader will start shooting on the 25th. ^_^
