Things I Want To Do
I remember a friend of mine forced (yes you read it right, forced) me to read this book. It’s about how to be successful. I really don’t like reading those kinds of books. I have my own opinions and outlook in life and I know I’m stubborn enough not to believe what’s written in those books unless it’s in line with what I believe in. Anyway, he was able to force me to read the book and it was kinda interesting. There was this part where you will be asked to list the things you want to do or achieve if you were given unlimited time, money and resources. I really had fun doing that. It can be as unrealistic or impossible as you want it to be. My list included conquering Mt. Everest, volunteering at a drug rehab, learning a couple of foreign languages, visiting the Exploratorium, and a couple hundreds more.
The purpose of the list is it reminds us of the things we want to do no matter how big small they are. Whenever you accomplish something, scratched it off your list. And looking at the list after a few years, you’ll be surprised to see how much you’ve accomplished without realizing it. Makes sense right? I just might have to update that list of mine one of these days.
